Assistant Director

Kasaundra Mark

KaSaundra Mark (Mrs. Kay) has a love and passion for children and their education. She has been an Early Childhood Educator for over 25 years and has worked with every age group. She believes that education starts at infancy. It is never too early to begin educating our children. Mrs. Kay spent over 18 years in the field as an owner and operator of a home-based program in Michigan before relocating to Georgia. She received her education at Michigan State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Psychology. She is also a wife and a mother of three beautiful children (two of whom were an extra blessing when she married). Mrs. Kay is so honored that you allow me to partner with you to love and educate your precious children. She looks forward to watching your children learn, grow, and prosper.

Executive Administrator

Bessie Watts

Bessie Watts is married to Michael, the mother of 3 adult children, and the proud grandmother of 14. After moving to Georgia from California, she retired from a major bank after 28 years of service. She acquired a new skill and became the manager of a medical supply store, where she became a certified mastectomy fitter for breast cancer survivors!

Bessie has been employed by TOPELC since 2015 as the Administrative Assistant. She is usually the first face mom/dad, and children see when they arrive in the morning. She enjoys greeting everyone with a warm “GOOD MORNING.” The children get a loving hug and a “POW” (fist bump), which helps them start their day well.

Mother Bessie says that she is blessed to be a part of our amazing team at TOPELC

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, educational environment that fosters active learning, child development, and support for the whole child while assuring your peace of mind in the care and service we render.

VISION
We desire to ensure that every child has the knowledge and encouragement needed to become all Christ intends for them to be.

PURPOSE
Our purpose is to train up children in the ways of God according to the word of God.

Our Philosophy

TOPELC believes the true goal of education is to know God because God is the source of all truth, wisdom and understanding. Since God in omniscient, therefore all areas of life and learning are sacred. A Christian worldview places all learning with the parameters of Scripture, therefore all instructional areas will be educated from the Biblically based view. Curriculum is specifically designed and selected to challenge the student in internalizing a Christian worldview.

Children are gifts from God, a sacred trust, to be raised in the nurture and admonition of God "to love the Lord your God and serve him with all your heart and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy instructs parents to "listen diligently to the Lord’s commands and to teach them to your children.” TOPELC exists to assist parents in fulfilling this Biblical obligation.

Christian teachers are called by God, gifted by God, and guided by the Holy Spirit, in their personal and professional lives to demonstrate excellence in educational practice. The teacher guides and nurtures students toward a Christian worldview through the effective utilization of a variety of teaching methodologies appropriate to each child’s stage of development.

Christian education occurs as the Holy Spirit works effectively in the hearts and minds of the students. Because God has created all students, it is the purpose of the Christian daycare to direct each student to achieve their full potential with regards to their unique talents and developmental growth patterns.
